Family & Community Engagement Director

Job Objective:

Youth Enrichment Association is looking for a Family & Community Engagement Director whose duty is to serve as a liaison while building and maintaining active relationships with the individuals, families, organizations, partners, and leaders in the communities we serve. The Family & Community Director will improve communication between the organization and community, develop and coordinate initiatives, activities, and events to promote parental engagement; and to encourage greater community involvement in the organization.

Accountability: 

The Family & Community Engagement Director will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

Job Description: 

• Develop a structured process for Youth Enrichment Association to utilize to develop relationships with participants families and the community.
• Create a community marketing plan designed to market the mission of Youth Enrichment Association and attract new participants and volunteers. 
• Plan Community Events and workshops to provide tools for community growth.
• Develop partnerships with schools, community leaders to assist Youth Enrichment Assistance.
• Coordinate with Grant/Sponsorship team for potential funding opportunities for community programming. 
• Perform other duties as requested.

Working Environment

The usual working environment for YEA, Inc. employees vary depending on position. This position offers freedom to work remotely and commit to regular staff meetings.

Experience Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.

Education 

High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
