Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Objective

Our organization is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our growing team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects our company and will provide strategic financial input to senior management. While keenly overseeing the overall accounting process, the successful CFO will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of our organization.

Accountability: 

The CFO will report directly to the Executive Director.

Job Description: 

· Manage the day to day financial and business resources of Youth Enrichment Association. 

· Participate and work with Executive Director’s Leadership Team Meetings to govern finances and help identify financial needs of organization.

· Preparation of yearly budget and will work with the Fundraising and Sponsorship team to provide financial goals as they seek to raise funds.

· Oversee Finances of any project associated with Youth Enrichment Association.

· Submit monthly reports to Executive Director.

· Create a financial policy that Treasurer and any financial representative should adhere to.

· Develop and Manage a process and policy for financial budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting. 

· Coordinate with Fundraising & Sponsorship Planning Committee by providing strategic recommendations. 

· Establish and maintain relationships and partnerships with donors and sponsors.

· Review and approve any contractual agreements involving finances on behalf of Youth Enrichment Association.

· Coordinate with Income and Disbursements with Treasurer and financial Team.

· Facilitate financial team meetings to provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team. 

Working Environment The usual working environment for YEA, Inc. employees vary depending on position. This position offers freedom to work remotely and commit to regular staff meetings.

Experience 

Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.

Education 

Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree Preferred

Accounting or Financial Certification(s)
